Vice President
Upon completion of the Clemson University Masters Degree in
Architecture program, Scot moved to Atlanta.
His early professional experience involved design of academic
facilities with architectural firms in the Atlanta area. He received
his architectural registration in 1992.
Mr. worked five years in a large Atlanta based architectural
firm as Project Architect on a range of projects including:
- McCormick Place Convention Center Expansion & Hyatt Regency
Hotel, Chicago, IL;
- 4501 Northpoint Parkway, Alpharetta, GA, 5-Story Office;
- Temple University Recreation & Convocation Center, Philadelphia,
PA;
- GE Capital Headquarters, Alpharetta, GA, 5-Story Office;
He gained additional experience as Project Architect in a firm
providing Interior Architecture and Space Planning services for
Corporate Office and Telecommunications facilities.
Mr. joined the firm of Fowler Design Associates, Inc. in
1999, and is currently a Vice President - a key part of the leadership
of the firm, and acting as Project Manager on many projects,
including Corporate facilities, Office Buildings, Hospitality,
and Space Planning / Interior Design services. During his tenure
with Fowler Design Associates, Inc., Mr. has managed the architectural
design / project management of numerous of Corporate Office Buildings,
Interiors and Community facilities in the Southeast U.S.
A LEED accredited professional for the design of environmentally sustainable
facilities, he is also a member of professional organizations including the
American Institute of Architects and the US Green Building Council, NAIOP and
the Congress for the New Urbanism.
